October 4 - 10, 2020
This year marks 20 years since the start of First Nations Public Library Week. Typically, posters would be mailed to every public library in Ontario, and celebrations and programming would be underway. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, libraries have been diligently keeping staff and patrons safe by offering online programming, curbside pickup, and limited browsing.
This year, we are following suit and will be offering a week of online programming. The videos will be uploaded to this website and accessible year-round. You can also download the poster and share in your library, social media, or websites. Please use the #FNPLW when posting. Printable programming sheets are also available.
We hope library patrons enjoy the daily programming that highlights and celebrates Indigenous excellence and information sharing in Ontario.
